PMW Dynamics provide a comprehensive portfolio of advanced PM servo motors deploying both brush and brushless technology each bringing their specific benefits to an application
Remember your choice is not limited to catalogue items as PMW Dynamics have the capability to design and manufacture custom motors optimised to the exact requirement of your application
A diverse range of industries rely on PMW Dynamics to engineer motor solutions design specifically for their demanding needs. Here's some examples ...
This new role is primarily to ensure that the key objectives of new development and serial production projects are achieved; namely ...
To achieve these goals you will develop robust delivery programmes and ensure comprehensive "buy-in" from all relevant teams within the business including design, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, test and quality. You will carefully monitor progress against programme milestones and ensure all goals are achieved on-time, within budget and on-specification. Of course, this is cutting-edge engineering with a great deal of R&D content, meaning that even the best laid plans may need to be adapted in the light of new discoveries or the latest test data. You will proactively identify potential programme risks and build comprehensive mitigation strategies to minimise impact of the overall programme goals
This is a customer facing role where you will be the primary interface between PMW Dynamics and the customer's own Project Management and Engineering Teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that all technical and commercial interfaces are defined and that progress by both internal and external stakeholders is maintained to plan
Motor development technical competence is vitally important for this role since most programmes relate to new, bespoke solutions often for challenging applications. Therefore you should have a good understanding of the design and operation of BLDC motors including key design parameters and their relevance to the overall performance of the end product. Ideally you will have had some exposure to motor development and simulation software such as ANSYS MotorCAD
Comprehensive IT skills with advanced capabilities in MS Office is a given. A good working knowledge of MS Project Pro would be a distinct advantage too
Being a small, highly focused and agile team means being able to actively contribute to associated activates with the motor design, development and manufacturing process. Therefore you should be equally comfortable running comprehensive hands-on testing of prototype motors on our suite of in-house dynos or programming motor drive electronics as well as managing the overall programme flow
